Teresa has created a fun hearted class to share her joy of Middle Eastern dance! Basic to advanced isolation movements will be drilled individually (including ¾ shimmies) and in combo format! The currant dance series is always evolving with the students present. You will get a taste of veil work with our energizing warm up and dive into the soul as we end with some improve!

What is Improvisational Dance? Improvisational dance is when you listen to music and allow your body to respond. During class we will practice dancing without planned choreography. We will let the music (traditional or non) inspire us to move. You may find yourself moving in combos that you have drilled or other movements that you feel comfortable in. This is where your basic practice is really beneficial so that when you dance improve you can let go and not think of what comes next! Don’t worry if you get stuck find ways to inspire yourself!

Teresa teaches every Sunday (excluding certain events/holidays) at Yoga Loft Hawaii, 94-547 Ukee Street, Suite 205, Waipahu, HI.
