Shaabi refers to a style of living, music and dance, which applies to dances by ordinary people in informal gatherings. This style of music and dance is rougher and more playful than the rest of Egyptian pop music. Amala will teach a fun Shaabi choreo while explaining hand gestures and translating song lyrics.
Cost is $35.00 ($30.00 for MEDAH members) in advance and $40.00 at the door.
